"El Mago Javier" finished the year in style.

2009 has been one of the best for him and to be able to finish it by performing at RONNIE SCOTTS was the cherry on top of the cake. This jazz club was celebrating its 50th Anniversary that year. It opened its doors in 1959 and, since then, the biggest stars in the jazz scene roam the stage.

Javier said: " It has been an honour to perform this Christmas at Ronnie's. Happy Birthday !! "

"Thank you so much for helping us through the Christmas season in 2009. Thanks to your help, we have had the best season in the history of Ronnie Scott's. You added so much towards the atmosphere in the club and we appreciate how you were able to keep all our guests entertained, especially during intermissions in the music.

You were such a pleasure to work with and all the staff really enjoyed getting to know you. We hope you have a great holiday and we will surely be asking you to come back.
